My first visit to Lorna today for an Indian Head Massage.
Unbelievable experience, total relaxation and time out.
Lorna is welcoming, professional and I will definitely be back.
I highly recommend her.
I used my gift voucher for an Indian Head Massage. This was the first time I have had this holistic treatment and it was absolutely wonderful. Lorna's technique and pressure with the massage was spot on and I felt extremely relaxed and fell into a very deep meditative state. For the duration of the actual treatment and the rest of the eventing I felt rested and relaxed and will be booking another session as soon as I can.
Lorna also combines treatments so you can have Reiki and Indian Head massage. I think that sounds like absolute bliss. I'll be back!!
I was fortunate enough to gifted an Indian Head Massage for Christmas, and today I met Lorna for the first time. The whole experience was wonderful, calming and uplifting. I would highly recommend to anyone in need relaxation and some time out. I will 100% be booking in another treatment. Thank you so much Lorna! xx
What is an Indian head massage?
An Indian head massage is a gentle and soothing massage that focuses on the head, neck, arms and shoulders. The therapist uses a combination of massage, acupressure and aromatherapy to relieve tension and promote relaxation. This massage technique is based on the belief that there are energy channels running throughout the body and that these channels can become blocked or imbalanced, leading to physical and emotional discomfort. During an Indian head massage, the therapist will use a variety of techniques to release tension in the muscles and stimulate the flow of energy throughout the body. This may include gentle kneading and rubbing of the scalp, neck and shoulders, as well as acupressure. One of the key benefits of an Indian head massage its its ability to reduce stress and promote relaxation. This can help improve sleep, reduce anxiety and depression and promote a sense of overall well-being. Additionally this massage technique can help to relieve tension headaches and migraines, as well as improve circulation and lymphatic drainage. So if you are looking for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, consider booking an Indian head massage today! With its gentle and soothing techniques and many health benefits, this massage technique is sure to leave you feeling refreshed and renewed.

What to expect after.
After your Indian Head Massage, expect to feel great and deeply relaxed.
While some may experience temporary side effects such as tiredness, dizziness and increased urination, increased energy and alertness usually follow.
I have been seeing Lorna since January 2022 for crystal reiki sessions due to stress and anxiety. From the moment you walk through the door you feel Lorna's calming and sensitive nature and zest for life. She has been a shoulder to cry on and a huge support with her guidance and sensitivity. Each session leaves me feeling relaxed and calm and helps set my intentions in place. Due to Lorna and her wonderful healing hands, my reiki journey has developed and I have managed to return to work. I owe this to the power of reiki healing.
I would highly recommend any of Lorna's sessions and have myself enjoyed crystal reiki, distant reiki and Indian head massage.
While an Indian head massage can have many benefits for most people, there are some situations where caution should be exercised or the massage should be avoided all together.

If you have recently had a head injury, concussion, or neck injury, it is best to avoid an Indian head massage until you have fully recovered.
If you have a fever, contagious illness, or any other acute medical condition, it is best to avoid and Indian head massage until you have fully recovered.
If you have any history of blood clots or have a current clotting disorder, it is best to avoid an Indian head massage as the massage may increase the risk of dislodging a clot.
If you have any skin allergies or sensitivities, be sure to inform your massage therapist before your session so they can choose appropriate oils and techniques.
If you are pregnant, it is important to inform your massage therapist and seek their advice before receiving an Indian head massage.
