What is Distant Reiki Healing?
Distant Reiki healing is the practice of sending Reiki to someone without them being present. The Reiki healer will make an energetic connection with the client and send energy to that specific location. This has many benefits including:

The client does not have to be in the same room (or country) for the Reiki healing to work

It is useful for clients who are unable to travel to receive a treatment in person

Ideal for animals who are too stressed or wild to have a close session with a Reiki healer

The Reiki healer does not have to travel to the patient
How does Distance Reiki work?
Some people find this all a little bit woo woo and hard to believe, but think of it like when we are connected using mobile telephones, there is no physical connection.
The verbal information is sent by the sender and received by the person on the other phone. We cannot see the information being sent but it does arrive. Distant Reiki healing works the same way. The Reiki healer sends the energy and the client receives the energy, wherever they are.

I had my first distant reiki session with Lorna today due to Covid stopping my normal in-person session. All I can say is that if you have any doubts about distant reiki, put them aside and give it a go.
